Cage Fitness

Social Media Plan and Management

Based in Orlando, FL Cage Fitness is a MMA inspired workout class that schools in the Championship Martial Arts network can offer their students. The company also has an app that pushes workouts from the class to users so they can also get their workouts in from the comfort of their own home.

Social Media Planning and Management

The Challenge:

When I was tasked with helping breathe some new air into the Cage Fitness social media accounts I was excited to see what kind of content I could create that would not only connect to the brand’s following but also keep them checking the account anytime we posted. While Cage’s accounts had been active for sometime, it was admittingly not posting content frequent enough to keep a constant reach and engagement.

The Approach:

My approach was pretty simple since I had access to their content folders and their in house creative team provided me with amazing templates for social media posts. I was also lucky enough to be within driving distance of the schools that offered Cage Fitness so we got together to plan a video and photo shoot to help with content. This allowed me to not only have on brand content directly from the company but to also get a feel for the classes and what they offer.

To optimize Cage’s social media posts for engagement I came up with “Motivational Meals” for timeline posts and story posts. The idea was to give followers healthy meals they can make quickly after a workout. I made sure to remind people they could even screenshot the images so they could save them to their phone. The other posts involved motivational quotes from MMA stars and photos from Cage Fitness classes to motivate people to get their workouts in or come join a class.

Professional Content Creation

As a videographer and photographer, I worked with Cage Fitness’s in house creative team to produce new content for them to use. Together we created tons of content to push to their social media and we also updated some of their marketing media so they had a fresh new look for their advertising campaigns.
